Male’ is the capital
of the Maldives. An island barely 2.5 square kilometers in area, it is the commercial
center of activity but still retains a charming tropical lethargy. Male’ is the
seat of government, and also where a number of historical and cultural buildings have been
preserved. The Islamic Center dominated by a large golden dome, the museum and the old
architecture of some houses combine with modern day high-rise buildings to create an
island of contrasts.
Male’ is the best
place for shopping, and shops packed with souvenir items line the busy streets. The local
fish market is a fascinating sight when freshly caught fish are landed in the afternoon.
The local fruit and vegetable market in a shaded building near the waterfront displays the
local products.

This Journey is to
explore the hidden secret beneath the ocean where the aquamarine beauty and amazing multi
colored corals and fauna is found.
Snorkeling trips to
nearby reefs are conducted everyday by Dhoni.
Snorkeling
equipment’s is available on rental basis from the Diving School.
Also you can purchase
these equipments from the Souvenir Shop.
During snorkeling, please
be careful not to break any coral, which would damage the beauty of the under water world.
Collecting live coral and shells are prohibited by law.
To let you familiarize
with the Maldivian culture and traditions, we organize a number of excursions to the
neighboring island where the centuries old culture and simple Maldivian lifestyle remains
unchanged.
The excursion guides
would escort and assist you during the trip that includes tours to a local fishing
village, tourist resort and an uninhabited Island where you will be having your BBQ lunch.
You are also advised to take your snorkeling equipment with you as you will also will have
time for snorkeling / swimming.
This trip will take you
to 2 different types of Islands, which you will be able to experience the modern and
cultural lifestyle. The visit to the local Island will give a chance to discover the
Maldivian tradition & cultural values and of their life style. And the visit to
another resort will give you the opportunity to discover the different concepts in the
Maldives. You are advised to dress modestly while visiting Local Island.
Morning Fishing
The trip sets off before
the sun rises in order to attract the larger fish. The Dhoni (boat) Captain will provide
fishing hooks baits and line during the trip. Your catch of the day will be barbecued.
Night Fishing
Just bait your hook and
lower the line and wish for your big catch. We cannot guarantee your luck. Early in the
evening you leave by Dhoni to one of the reefs near Paradise Island. Fishing in the early
evening is not only exciting, but also gives you the chance to enjoy a romantic sunset.
The Dhoni Captain will provide fishing hooks & lines during the trip. Your catch of
the day could be barbecued at the Sunset restaurant.

Get ready for the fishing
trip of your lifetime and join the big game fishing with the crewmembers of he speeds boat
equipped with professional fishing gears. The trip is designed for 2 people which starts
in the early morning to go out and catch the "big ones" This exciting fishing
trip may surprise your luck with a great catch of Wahoo, Barracudas, blue martins or even
a big tuna.

For more of a challenge,
try your hand at hooking a "big one." Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Sailfish are just
some of the fish to try for during their seasons. Cold soft drinks will be provided
